Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 2026

Kavian Standard treats data privacy as an operating standard, not a formality. We do not sell, broker, or supply customer data to third parties, and we collect only the customer data necessary to deliver our products and services.

What This Covers

This policy applies to all Kavian Standard properties: this website, our Shop, Imperium, and Kavian OS. Kavian OS is currently available in the United States, with UAE availability coming soon.

Product Purchases (Imperium & Shop)

Checkout for Imperium and Shop products is handled by Shopify. Kavian Standard does not receive, store, or have access to your payment card information — that data is collected and processed exclusively by Shopify under its own privacy policy.

We do receive your shipping information (name and address) through Shopify's order system, as it is required to fulfill and ship your order. This information is used solely for order fulfillment and is never sold or shared beyond what fulfillment requires.

Contact Form Submissions

When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry and improve our products and services.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

When you visit our site, we automatically collect information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we also collect information about the pages you view, what referred you to the site, and how you interact with it. We collect this "Device Information" through cookies, log files, and tracking pixels.

We use Google Tag Manager to deploy tracking scripts and Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our site. You can read more about how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/privacy, and opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We use Microsoft Clarity to record session replays and generate heatmaps that help us understand how visitors navigate and use our site. Clarity does not use this information for advertising. You can read more about how Microsoft handles this data at privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement.

We use the Meta Pixel to provide advertising we believe may be of interest to you based on your activity on our site. You can learn more about how this kind of advertising works, and how to opt out of it, at the Network Advertising Initiative's educational page, optout.networkadvertising.org.

Kavian OS uses session cookies required for login and account functionality only — it does not use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, or any other advertising or ad-attribution tracking. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not affect any purchase, but may prevent you from staying logged in to Kavian OS.

Kavian OS

Kavian OS is our subscription behavioral intelligence platform. The following applies specifically to accounts on that platform.

What Is Collected

  • Account information: email address and hashed password
  • Operator-authored content: audit documents, daily log entries, and data entered into the platform
  • Referral source and operator type selected during onboarding
  • Payment information: collected and processed exclusively by Stripe. Kavian Standard never receives, stores, or has access to payment card data.
  • Basic usage data: login timestamps and session activity

How Operator Data Is Protected

All operator entries — including log data, audit documents, and generated reports — are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Data is never stored in readable form. The database contains only ciphertext. A breach of the underlying infrastructure would expose gibberish, not readable operator content.

Each operator's data is encrypted with a unique key derived from their account. AI-generated analysis is performed on temporarily decrypted data server-side; the resulting report is re-encrypted before storage. Kavian Standard cannot read, access, or review operator log content.

Data Retention

Active accounts retain all data for the duration of the subscription. If an account becomes inactive, operator data is retained in encrypted form for up to 12 months, then permanently deleted. Operators who wish to delete their data before 12 months may do so by deleting their account — deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Third-Party Services

  • Stripe — payment processing. Kavian Standard does not handle card data directly.
  • Anthropic — AI analysis layer. Analysis operates on temporarily decrypted operator data server-side. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models. Under standard API access, Anthropic may retain API inputs for up to 7 days for trust and safety monitoring. See Anthropic's usage policy for full details. Order & Contact Data Retention

Order records for Imperium and Shop purchases are retained by Shopify under its own retention practices. Kavian Standard retains the fulfillment and support records tied to your order only as long as needed to complete it and resolve any related questions. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, after which they are deleted.

No Data Sales

Kavian Standard does not sell customer data for money. Customer data is used only for Kavian Standard's normal business operations, including marketing, fulfillment, and product functionality.

As described above, we use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand site usage and provide advertising that may be of interest to you. Sharing device and browsing information with these providers for advertising purposes may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information under some state privacy laws, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out of this sharing at any time — see the links in Cookies & Tracking Technologies above, or submit a request as described in Your Rights below.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses of your data, including the sharing described above. To submit a request, email intel@kavianstandard.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before completing requests involving account or order data.

Residents of California, Virginia, and the European Economic Area have additional rights under applicable law (including the CCPA, the VCDPA, and the GDPR), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. Kavian Standard does not sell personal information for money; to opt out of the advertising-related sharing described above, use the opt-out links provided in Cookies & Tracking Technologies or email us directly.

Children's Privacy

Our products and services are intended strictly for adults. The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our records.

International Visitors

Kavian Standard is based in the United States, and any data you provide is processed and stored in the United States. If you access our products or services from outside the United States, your information will be subject to U.S. law, which may differ from the data protection laws of your home jurisdiction.
